To get started with a new thing is always difficult, and we’ve been thinking about how to make learning electronics and sensing the world around you easier than ever. We are proud to announce the release of the Arduino Sensor Kit – Base, a joint production between Arduino and Seeed. The Arduino Sensor Kit is a plug & play addition to the Arduino Uno to get you started with electronics and programming. It integrates 10 Grove modules on a single PCB, including 5 sensors, an OLED display, and actuators. Best of all, those modules are pre-wired, so no breadboard, no welding, and even no wiring! Proving that hardware doesn’t need to be hard.

Grove – Buzzer
Grove – Buzzer is a simple yet enjoyable twig to use. It can output noise at a volume over 85 dB and is integrated with Grove interface, which makes it easy to connect and experiment by just plug & play.
Grove – OLED Display 0.96″
Grove – OLED Display 0.96″ (SSD1315) is a monochrome(white) 128×64 pixels passive display matrix module with Grove I2C Interface.
Grove – Button
Grove – Button is a momentary push button. It contains one independent “momentary on/off” button. “Momentary” means that the button rebounds on its own after it is released. The button outputs a HIGH signal when pressed, and LOW when released.
Grove – Rotary Potentiometer
Grove – Rotary Angle Sensor, this potentiometer twig produces analog output between 0 and Vcc (5V DC with Seeeduino) on its D1 connector. The D2 connector is not used. The angular range is 300 degrees with a linear change in value. The resistance value is 10k ohms.
Grove – Light
Grove – Light Sensor v1.2 is an analog module and can output various electrical signals which can be converted to different ranges. It integrates LS06-S photoresistor, a high-sensitive and reliable photodiode, to detect the intensity of light in the environment.
Grove – Sound
Grove sound sensor based on the power amplifier LM358 and the electret microphone. It can be used to detect whether there’s sound (like the sound of clapping, noise, etc) surround or not and output the sound strength of the environment. This sound module provides analog output signal.
Grove – Temperature & Humidity Sensor
Grove – Temperature & Humidity Sensor uses the upgraded version of DHT11. The new version of the DHT11 module replaces resistive humidity components with capacitive humidity components. The temperature and humidity measurement range are wider. The temperature resolution is higher.
Grove – Air Pressure Sensor
Grove – Air Pressure Sensor is built around Bosch BMP280. It is a low-cost and high-precision environmental sensor measures the temperature and barometer. Grove – BMP280 supports both I2C and SPI communication and we provide the BMP280 Arduino library.
Grove – 3-Axis Accelerator
Grove – 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer(LIS3DHTR) is a low-cost 3 – Axis accelerometer which is based on the LIS3DHTR chip which provides multiple ranges and interfaces selection.
Before getting started with the Arduino Sensor Kit, you need to have an Arduino UNO board at your side. Just plug the Arduino Sensor Kit into the Arduino UNO board, then you’re ready to go enjoy coding!
