Normally I wouldn’t condone violence against a dog…

And I still won’t but I will deny treats for the rest of the week

One idea is buy a frame and put what’s left of it in the frame and then put a picture of your dog in the frame as well with a little card that says something funny about how the dog chewed it up. Maybe Reddit can help you on that, I’ve got nothing clever.

In the distant future you’ll have a memento of both and could still be special to you.

Post this on Twitter and tag the Doom team. If it gets enough traction they might send you a new one!

I really hope OP is just trying to get Karma and didn’t actually pay for this “signed” copy. These covers were handed out at Gamestop during launch.

Source: worked at Gamestop during Doom launch and handed hundreds of these covers out.

Why don’t ppl have the *common sense* to place valuable things like this in an elevated and preferably locked place – away from pets and kids and shit? I would be livid.

Edit: of significance to the owner. Giving it value to THEM.

I used to work at GameStop. If this is just the regular copy of Doom they all had a “hidden” back art that was signed. It’s a copy not actual sharpie. So just go buy another copy of doom and flip the art 😀
Edit: it may have been a preorder bonus art. I can check if I still have mine!
Edit edit: Confirmed it is a preorder bonus that was given out during the release 🙂

Sorry for your loss. If it’s any comfort, this was a GameStop preorder bonus and you can get the same exact one on ebay for less than $20.
