If it’s placed clear up at the top, the bulk of the strap inside the Strap Tab should end right where the End Binding begins–making that seam easier to sew. ❤️ The End Bindings and Boxy Corner Bindings are single fold bindings to decrease the bulk of the seams. If you find your machine is still struggling to get through the thickness, you can cut the straps inside of the Strap Tabs shorter so they aren’t in the Boxy Corner seam. This will decrease the strength of the Straps, but since this is a small bag that is likely not going to be carrying a heavy load, it should be just fine. 😊 Any questions for today? These videos will stay here on my instagram page to access any time you’d like to watch them. Thank you so much for sewing along with me! It’s been such a joy seeing your Alpen Belt Bags pop up in my feed. 🥰 Pattern: the Alpen Belt Bag Pattern available in my shop. Fabric: Floral is @riflepaperco, lining and binding are @rubystarsociety. Zipper is @sallietomatopatterns, Gold Hardware is from @stitchsupplyco. #alpenbeltbag #beltbag #fannypack #handmadegifts #handmade #sew #sewing #quiltedpouch #zipperpouch #quilting | Center Street Quilts | Paul Werner · Beautiful Morning
